Are you up to the challenge in 2017?
Brave Spud Software employees and clients have joined our second annual Fitness and Polar Plunge challenge to encourage healthier lifestyles at Spud.
As a part of our commitment to keeping our team and associates healthy, Spud Software has held several fitness challenges over the years, but nothing like last year’s Polar Plunge, which saw several employees jump into a pool filled with freezing cold water if they didn’t meet their fitness goals.
And several of us are crazy enough to do it again this year!
Starting January 3rd, nineteen of our staff and clients signed up to participate in the Polar Plunge challenge by setting weight loss goals and agreeing to participate in a weekly weigh in. Weight losses and gains will be tracked and on February 24thwe’ll celebrate a final weigh in followed by another Polar Plunge for those who didn’t meet their fitness goals.
Maybe you’re not ready to participate in a Polar Plunge, but the start of a new year is a great time to make healthy changes in your own life. Whether you’re committed to losing weight, getting more sleep, or finally organizing that junk drawer in your kitchen, we encourage you to find ways to make positive, or just unique, changes. We’ve compiled a list of a few challenges to give yourself in the new year:
